Pheasant back mushroom by bobbic

Pheasant back mushroom

This was deep in the woods. We saw them growing out of a couple of different trees. They are big. I would guess each one was 10-12" across. They are edible too but only when they are less than half this size.
A stunning find and capture, such wonderful patterns, tones and textures.

At 12" they must look massive. Beautiful capture of them. Excellent focusing.
