A Mark Billingham thriller set in a mental health unit with a doozie of an unreliable narrator. Didn't really get madly into it - always felt very claustrophobic - which was kind of the idea really.
Did some more digging about replacing windows in a conservation area. Looks like we will need planning permission as the property is a flat. The annoyance factor goes up. Trying to keep anxiety at bay.
Had a look at a few ideas for a birthday Landmark and emailed round.
3 good things
1. Can't get onto tomorrow's Zumba class again, but went to a different class this morning - very good.
2. Fridge is full of food from a big delivery this morning - and we still have some leftover chickpea soup left.
3. Leftover fish and chips with halloumi for brunch.
Just done the same, want to move our windows forward (to stop the drunks and druggies using the windowledge as a table) and put up a fence in a conservation area.
I think you need to find out if your area/building is article 4, or something like that. If your flat isn't listed, you may not have to get permission if not article 4. Our house isn't listed and luckily not article 4, so can replace windows without bother, but prob need permission to push them forward and change the appearance so much.
@blightygal oh Haringey website not the clearest. But apparently it's because it's a flat and these don't have any of the permitted developments or something that houses do.
@boxplayer Ah yeah, forgot about the flat thing. Just heard back from mine, allowed to put up a fence under permitted dev, but got to apply for windows as want to move their position. That's another £300 then!
