Interesting breakfast of toast, exotic mushrooms and a bit of almond croissant that mum had brought. She was disappointed that none of the foxes turned up on a bright sunny morning. Got her an Uber after to take her home.
Dave came along to the session with me, not to play as it's a bit advanced for him, but to check it out and write down tune names which I kept whatsapping him. Good session - busy and lots of good tunes.
I persuaded Dave to have a cheeky Turkish in Yasar's Kitchen after - a yummy halloumi vegetarian platter with that delicious rice you get in Turkish restaurants.
Sad news that J our ex-neighbour has lost his father and we won't be able to meet him and Z in a couple of weeks as planned.
3 good things
1. Gorgeously bright and sunny with a definite hint of mildness in the air. The sky is tinged pink at the moment.
2. My fingers seemed to find what they needed to do during the session.
3. No need to cook tonight, I can finish my book.
