Or Chalet Wood to be precise - east London's top bluebell spot in Wanstead Park. Cycled here to get a good look and smell of our prettiest spring flower.
Warm again this morning so a random breakfast of bread, dips, halloumi - and fried eggs for some - sitting outside. T and B left after, taking mum home, and N went off to visit family and S to visit an old school friend.
I cycled off for my bluebell safari, wandering down to the very busy tea hut after viewing the flower glade for a Magnum and tea. A Canada goose couple with goslings were entertaining the families. Trotted round the lake and doubled back to my bike to cycle home to an oddly quiet house, with everyone gone or doing their own thing. Knees very sore.
3 good things
1. Not as much sun as yesterday, but still clement.
2. The fragrance of bluebells.
3. Cooked a big stew of vegetables with smoked paprika - craving non-junk food.
@beverley365 so the easiest way I find is to view your month view on your smartphone and take a screenshot of it. I can then edit it using my phone's Google Photos or Snapseed. Crop it to the calendar shape, remove the word April and the dates from the empty squares and add a heading - similar to this by shutterbug https://365project.org/shutterbug49/52wc/2023-04-30
How do I upload / share my month April ? Sorry to be a pest….
Happy May bank holiday 😎
