Between Regent Street and Kingly Court. Doing a bit of retail therapy after working in the office today. Wanted to see if I could fit into Birkenstocks closed toe sandals but they've moved a long way from their orthopaedic origins and they're too narrow these days. Did find a denim dress and linen shirt in John Lewis however.
Very tired when the alarm went off - not just the heat, but somebody's car alarm went off three times in the night. And at the other end of the day, got mildly cross when I got out of the tube on the way home to buy fish and chips as I had no cash and the sole cashpoint was out of order. Fishfinger sandwiches for supper instead.
3 good things
1. The huge variety of hydrangeas out there.
2. Got home to find both Jo and Elena are now joining us on our jaunt to Belgium later in the year.
3. Cute bats on Springwatch.
ooh, I really like this - proper good. Kinda reminds me of the 70's, the disco colours :-) I was given some gizeh for my b'day and they're ok. Interestingly I was bought a vegan pair a couple years ago and they're so narrow and do not give at all.
