Work lunch outing to this iconic greasy spoon - always known to us as the shouty caff because the woman serving bellows out your orders like a foghorn.
You have to queue to put in your order as it's always really busy and you're not allowed to sit down and save a table until you've put your order in - so it's mildly stressful to wait and watch and hope the right table comes free when you've ordered especially if there's a few of you.
Very hearty good caff food - cheese omelette and chips with a slice of bread and butter plus stewed tea for me. And to make things worse on the stuffing your face front, Harriet bought in delicious Crosstown doughnuts as she's recently returned from maternity leave.
Started watching the new series of Good Omens this evening while managing to eat yet more food. M out signing copies of her new album which have just arrived.
