A last ceilidh at Shrewsbury Folk Festival. Pictures from last weekend.
Having tried to have the Premier Inn breakfast and been told it was a 15 min wait, we went to the Wetherspoon's down the road for breakfast - much better, cheap, quick and plentiful.
Mainly playing music today. An English session in the morning. Lunchtime watching the Lasair ceilidh where I got free prosecco as the bar was closing and they had an open bottle that would have gone to waste. A last Tuneworks session with Dave.
On to the beer tent where we found another session and had an early fish and chips supper. Apparently this is when normally all the session musicians get on the cocktail bus and drive around the site but it didn't seem to be ready so we went straight to the Berwick and found Sue S and Jenny so joined the English session there and stayed till 11. Dave even got his guitar out.
