While walking through the parks into the office. Quite dark first thing and cold. Expected anouncement today that we will have to work at least 60 percent in the office from the spring. A lot of upset obviously though I'm not bothered - I like going in and it's still a good deal as far as I'm concerned.
Busy day full of meetings and emails, but nice plans afoot for the canteen Christmas lunch and the team Christmas meal.
Interesting that there now seems to be a swing back towards working in the office rather than at home. I am now retired, but I prefered working in the office, keeping a distance between work and home, because I had what at times could be a very stressful job.
@fishers@happypat I'm with you on the office working thing and I went back in as soon as lockdowns stopped, doing 2 days in and 2 days at home (I work 4 days so it was the easiest). Another day a fortnight won't worry me. Having people in the office more than at home is better for teams, the organisation and the individual but so many people can't see that. And the sense of entitlement from people really annoys me.
