Mums happy at the prospect of a lovely summer's day probably, having just dropped off their little ones at the school.
I've ranted before now about the habit they have of marching down the street, five or six abreast, pushchairs in tow, and not allowing anybody else a smidgeon of street to walk down. But they do look so happy, how can you begrudge them the whole of the pavement? And don't get me started on the two blokes sitting either side of me on the tube this morning doing the usual invasion of personal space - on this sultriest of all days as well.
Sultriness actually gave way to a lovely hot sunshiny day - although I could only spare a half-hour at lunchtime to wallow in it.
