Left over from the jubilee celebrations. The woman came to the window in an angry fright that someone was taking a picture of her property (I'm behind railings I hasten to add, not actually trespassing or anything). I had to mouth 'bunting' and point to it and she then smiled and laughed at it still being there. Although I did actually want to get her tatty windowframe into my pic in any case ...
Funnily enough another woman got all aerated when I was standing at the top of the ramp down to Pimlico station taking pictures of people entering the station and the guy handing out free papers there - I wasn't aiming the camera at anyone in particular but boy was her face a picture. I resisted saying I didn't want her ugly, cross mug in my photo anyway. Boy I'm feeling bolshy this week ...
Met Jane for lunch this afternoon for a pleasant catch-up, a friend I've not seen for a while.
Well this woman clearly didn't want to draw attention to her property... It makes me laugh because it's not like we can't all see this by walking down the street! Mind you I did used to get irritated by the Cambridge tour bus looking through our window!
nice commentary, this is why i back a way from street photos as i seem to be a magnet for angry peeps. i took one of a snowdrop earlier in the year and got told off for picking them! - like i have a camera in my hand does it look like i'm pinching them - nope! - she apologised lol
