No escaping the rain today even though the day started quite sunny. As I left work, it had started tipping it down - and decidedly cool too. So I opted not to go home via Liverpool Street and the open-air barndance with Cut a Shine (a free City of London festival event) and just headed straight for Pimlico past these rather intoxicatingly lush hydrangea blossoms.
In other news, the Olympics start in 2 weeks' time and they've only just discovered we're short of 3000 security personnel. Athletes start arriving in a couple of days and the M4 is shut indefinitely. The chaos begins. But one of the torch bearers did dance a morris dance, torch in hand.
Haha seems London's collapsing before the Games begin...
