Storm Isha

Caused a lot of havoc yesterday. Our ceanothus is down again but we didn't have it as bad as some. Sister S in Galway had to go down the lane this morning retrieving her worldly garden goods including the garden table that mysteriously disappeared at the height of things.

As you can see from the screen grab, our little corner of London and its surroundings was the only part of the country to avoid the amber or red warnings.

A great diary shot! I hate high winds, I always worry what damage they might bring! It wasn’t as bad in our area as in some, but it was very noisy!

I thought the top marker said “Red Wine” when I first looked at it. I was ready to head that direction.

Glad you were relatively unscathed. High wind always gives me the heebie jeebies.

Ireland did seem to get hit hard. We weren't too bad. Our biggest 'issue' was rapid snow melt entering the rivers.

We weren’t to bad - stuff got blown around the garden though
