Imprint

Coming to the computer this morning and looking out the a window I saw this imprint..another bird must've flown against the window pane inspite of my decals. pretty to look at but sad at the same time. he must've been ok though when I looked around outside the was nowhere around.
if you hadnt said what it was I was at the point of thinking it was a fossil... he must have been in a hurry too..

Without the explanation I'd never have guessed!!! Bird with a headache!

It is a good sign that you didn't see any body there.

Sad but kinda cool too, the light really picks out the feather profiles from both wings. It's a home CSI moment, glad no fatality ensued.

Beautiful imprint, bruni! Love how you captured this one. That happened to us once. And there were feathers and blood everywhere (don't mean to gross you out) . . however, there was no bird or body in sight. I felt sick about it all day tho. It can be a problem and one that is hard to correct. I had decals too, but it happens.

When birds are in love they have eyes for nothing else.
Great capture and saved for eternal.
The orchids I`ve pic. are cultivated ( from imported tropical ones long ago) The have to grow indoors Out site is to cold. We ( nurseryman ) produce millions of them every year. There are (wild ) orchids all over the world , even in cold countries

Wow! What a great shot. Birds can stand a lot, it will probably be ok.

We have some parrots who do that on a regular basis. They see their own reflection in the window & think it's another bird & hit the window. Frightens the heck out of us when it happens, but seem to fly away ok.
