We had a lovely walk around Paxton Pits this morning. The snow was crisp and clean most of the way. This is the bridge leading to one of the bird hides, although there weren't many birds about today. We did see a gorgeous green woodpecker from the car but were too late to capture him. It's a grey day today so I've picked this one as the oak leaves add a bit of colour.
@sailingmusic They're disused gravel pits which have filled with water and now form lakes. The area is now a nature conservancy area with walks, talks and an educational programme. It's an area well known across the UK for it's nightingales.
Keep cosy!
