We're heading towards Mount Cook in central NZ, staying at nearby Twizel. Taken across Lake Pukaki on the South Island, it is New Zealand's highest mountain at nearly 4,000 metres. This imposing mountain looked stunning in the sunlight as we approached.
So reminds me of the view from Lake Tekapo...I loved the central area of South Island ...just as you imagine NZ to be like. I have my map out looking at where you are!
