It's our wedding anniversary today - 53 years! We took ourselves off to London for the day and explored the recently transformed area around King's cross station. We walked along by the canal where some of the former industrial sites have been transformed into flats, sculptures and gardens. We had coffee at the lovely German gymnasium and lunch at a thriving Iranian restaurant. I feel so thankful to still be able to enjoy these pleasures of life

In 1958 I was serving the merchant navy and sailed a regulair time charter between Rotterdam and Londen ; The mooring place in Londen was the Regent Channel docks. I wander it still excist
(Also have nice memories to those narrow boats. And the old Thames barges )
