The Old Manor House, Swavesey

Our patchwork group arranged to have our Summer Supper meeting at this lovely old Manor House yesterday evening. Historic information is difficult to source, but it seems there was a Manor House here in the 13th century. During WWll , it was used as a hostel for the Land Girls, and is presently owned by our patchwork friend who has her incredible work displayed throughout the house.
Lovely manor house
