I'm cheating.
I never got my camera out of the car today in Indy.
How could that have happened? Well, we went on a tour of the house conducted by a five year old. Now that doesn't necessarily mean that we looked at rooms. We saw a garden spider, the light in the bathroom is fascinating to him. The basement is a particular wonder because he thinks it is so big. We went out to lunch and stopped at Lowe's to pick up a few things that Michael needed. We drove around the neighborhood to see Garrett's new Kindergarten, the pool and the playground. We built lego block castles and pirate ships. And then we had to leave and that broke my heart. I know that I will get used to them living there but today isn't the day.
This colour will brighten your day up considerably and knowing they are still in the same country is pretty good! I have 5 family members living overseas!
Beautiful shot and wonderful crop. Sounds like a great day with your little guide. Don't worry; I'm sure you'll see plenty of them. I hardly ever see mine and we still manage to have a close bond.
great details and colour, and a lovely crop / composition - this is great - fav (it will get better - and Garrett would probably have liked you taking the pictures of his favourite things0
I bet you had such a fun time.
And this shot is beautiful. Love the color.
