Today, my husband and I drove one hour north of our home to Jupiter, Florida. We ate fish tacos at a wonderful seafood restaurant and visited the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. The lighthouse was built in 1860, one year before the Civil War. I climbed the 139 stairs (34 to the base of the lighthouse and 105 on the spiral stairway to the top) for a wonderful view of Jupiter Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean beyond.
This is lovely! There is something quite photogenic about lighthouses, isnât there?
For get pushed, in your âblurbâ you mention that you enjoy fencing... can you take a picture that relates to this? If this doesnât work (COVID and all), then how about using the prompt âoppositesâ?
@northy Hi. Thanks for my challenge. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. It's been one of those "busy" days. I wish I could take some action shots of the other members of our fencing club in action, but we haven't been able to meet since the beginning of covid due to the recreation center that our club meets at being closed. I will see if I can come up with an acceptable composition with some of my fencing gear. If not, I will resort to your second prompt "opposites." For your challenge, I looked through some of your albums. You have a lot of great photos with a wide variety of subjects. I didn't see much in the way of portraits recently. Do you think you could do either a posed or candid portrait (or self-portrait if it's hard to find another person at the time)? If not, let me know and I will attempt to come up with something else.
