Komorac (Foeniculum vulgare) or fennel by cherrymartina

Komorac (Foeniculum vulgare) or fennel

Wonderful herb native in Dalmatia that grows almost as weed here, and smells terrific, especially after rain.
I saw this flower on my morning walk in a ray of golden light, full of tiny dew drops...
I tried to do my best, but I think I can make a better picture- maybe I will have another chance tomorrow...
When my kids were babies I used to pick few leaves and pieces of this plant found by the way and put it in a soup, or vegetables cause it is very good for digestion, and it gives your food a special boost...
I think I will plant it in my garden at home
Nice close-up

Beautiful. I can almost smell it. Aren't these related to dill?

Very pretty plant, and I like the way you composed the photo so that the stems ray out like a star burst. The dark background works well too with the bright yellow. Nice to hear about your morning walk.
