Is it possible?

Is it possible to teach a kitten not to go on a table? Or anywhere you don't want her?
This is mostly what we do around a house since we have gotten a kitty. Playing with her and fitting her. I have a spray bottle with water ready to use as teaching weapon, and when that doesn't work (it never does) I just pick her up and put her in a hall alone behind closed doors so I can do what I have to do. And then she cries, so I take her back in with us...Never-ending story. But she is cute so I forgive her.

I taught my cat not to jump on the table and on my bed :) she is a adorable little kitty

"Curiosity killed the cat" is a well-known saying, so a little bit of training might be worthwhile.

Ah yes, you think you are training them but they always make their own minds up about what they are going to do!

Cats are not quite as easy to be trained as dogs but you can do it. I had three cats at one time and none of them went upstairs or got on the kitchen surfaces or table. It was just repetition and stern voice that paid off. I could leave the room and leave meat on the table of surfaces and they would not touch it.

@vesna0210 , ha ha, one uvijek rade sta hoce, pa tako i slusaju samo ono kaj im pae. Kad nismo doma i po noci gospodicna ima ogranicen prostor
