We bought our daughter her first skates (we were renting them until now)...I am happy that she discovered skating as wonderful hobby. It is a regular thing here in Zagreb, everybody skates.
I have some fond memories of my skating days. It hasn't changed a bit. Young teenagers getting in the ring in the evening skating to the hit songs, under the lightshow, meeting new kids, being annoyed by hockey players that like to show off their skills and scare cute girls... Season is opened for couple of weeks now, and we have a long time ahead of us to enjoy it....
what pretty skates. I have kept the ones I used as a child although I never really became a proficient skater and too afraid of falling now I am a granny
How lovely that everyone skates in Zagreb. I haven't skated since I was in my twenties, but I like to watch it on Boston Common--so picturesque.
