Wild macro by cherrymartina

Wild macro

of a root, mini rose root. I wanted to dig out something more exciting, like an earthworm. Funny, whenever I am planting they are everywhere, and now, not one in the sight. Not that I am crazy about them, but I thought that would make a nice example of the wild life in my garden... Until I am able to catch a wild animal, enjoy plants...
Nice focus and background!

@gijsje, thank you for your concern. Not quite yet. I am getting very impatient and tired on top of it all... I need a huge stress relief...

The DoF really makes this photo. The tip of the root just emerges from the softly textured background.

If you look just right, it could be the desert from an airplane.
