We have visited our friends that have a house at island Brač and spent beautiful three days...
Brač is one of the biggest and most beautiful islands with a lot of history and amazing nature sites. One of the famous things there is the white stone which is very valuable for constructions, and exported all over the world. Insides of the UN building in NYC is made of it. And here, at Brač even the smallest lighthouse is built from it. Leftovers from quarry are spread on the beaches if necessary... The rest areas around island have stone tables... That was definitely one of the things that I liked a lot. Houses are tiled with it, if not built, churches are gloriously white... (I will show you one of them)...
