Immortelle in winter by cherrymartina

Immortelle in winter

Immortelle is a mediterranean plant. Surprisingly it grows just fine in continental part of Croatia all through the winter. The green part actually grows better here then at the coast. The scent, on the other hand, will never match mediterranean... But it still reminds me of summer and sun...
I have decided to photograph plants that make my garden look alive all through the winter. I have plenty of evergreens there, and I also find it very relaxing to spend time in my yard photographing little things. I tend to forget it from time to time...
A beautiful capture. I love the muted tones and focus.
