Fred & I give a humble thanks to you all for the nice comments on his peeking photo yesterday. Today, he's taking a look at climbing ivy. As you can see, he may not be the best swimmer, but Fred is an excellent climber.
But there's a mini secret to this skill. Scientists have recently found that some types of frogs and ivy produce a sticky adhesive at the nanoscale. This helps them climb with ease. Who knew frogs & ivy had so much in common...besides being green! :)
Sitting next to husband and responding to image...I start giggling...he says "what?" and I show him this image. A little eye rolling and I show him more and eventually he is giggling too. He liked the one of Fred with your jacket and tie.
@taffy - Haha that's awesome! Thanks for sharing the experience with me. Love hearing how my photos eventually make people smile. That's why I take these photos & love photography so much. Say thanks to your husband for me. Can't go wrong with a necktie, even with a frog wearing one. :)
It sounds like Spider-frog!!! A new superhero to save the day! Yay Fred. And btw, I really like the composition of this shot...Fred balances out the Ivy so well!
Hee hee, you are so inventive in your set-ups! Sorry I am late as always.. "all behind like the cow's tail" is a phrase I use often. Many thanks as always for all your kind and supportive comments and words Chris, most appreciated. Did you know that frogs are always happy? Why? Because they eat whatever bugs them... lol, lol...groan, sorry :) :) :)
@stephanies - Hahahaha that was a good one. Fred cracked up over it. They actually say that frogs may be very appealing to people because they have a constant grin...but I like your saying better. Always appreciate your kind feedback too whenever you are able to leave them. :)
