This photo is based off of one of my early Lego photos on this project before CJ the Legographer. (Click here to view it if you like). This was also before I learned how to use mounting putty to stick a little Lego dude in place. Even still, it took a tremendous amount of patience then and now to get everything to balance. As usual, it paid off...just probably not for CJ's back. 😆
It is making my back hurt to look at it! I can only imagine the amount of patience it took to get this to work out like this but the End results are so worth it.
Your first CJ shot is cool, but this one I can see all the improvements. Love the cap he is wearing in todays shot for the finishing touch. ( I guess his style of dressing improved too).
@borof - Thanks so much! The first one went ten times easier because he was attached to a base. In the new photo, sticking him in place with putty didn't always keep him upright. With perseverance, however, it worked!
I enjoyed the earlier one and can clearly see how much you've developed your artistry. Details like the little shadow below his feet make me feel the weight of this bigger load of legos. The addition of the camera tells a story -- makes the. viewer wonder, what's he taking a photo of? (And me, being only 5'0 tall, I should be taking lessons from CJ on how it's done.) We can't overlook the upgraded wardrobe and facial expressions on CJ!
