(Day 97) - A Lego Load

For today's color of my Rainbow Month, I wanted to shoot the yellow skin of a Lego Minifigure. But decided to have so extra fun by giving him a ton of Lego bricks to carry! These guys are much stronger than they appear. :o

~My friend was able to repair my laptop so that it would start up again but to do so he had to format the hard drive. Thankfully I backed up everything, especially my photos, so been taking some time to restore everything today. I'm so happy I keep my files back up, you never know when something might happen :)

Oh and thanks a ton for all the awesome remarks on the Wormy Apple shot! They were really fun to read!
I love the humour in this shot Chris. So glad your computer is OK

Thanks Chris made me smile, I'm getting a bit overwhelmed with the lack of time to take photo's just now and keep going for the easy option of heading to the garden. Feeling a little unimaginative right now. This is a perfect example of what this project should be FUN, I sometimes forget that. Thank supper sharp capture as well, well done.

@swilde - Thanks a plenty Sue! It's a huge 'load off' my shoulders now that it's fixed. My lego friend probably wouldn't like that pun very much. haha.

@nanm - Thank you Nancy! It's always a joy to tell a fun story with a photo.

@bulldog - Thank you Mr. Bulldog! I appreciate the kind remark!

@jan20 - Haha it did fall over a few times so the setup took a little while. I took a few shots at different angle but this lower angle looked the best.

@jackie8 - Happy you liked it Jackie! Thanks a ton for the Fav!

@julie - Thanks a lot Julie! Sometimes my ideas start off very simple and turn into shots like this. Happy to know it was an effective capture.

@anette - Thank you Anette! There's so many fun things that can be done with Lego. Looking forward to seeing what you capture!

@annika82 - Haha thanks very much Annika!

@briggsy - Happy to be able to give you a smile and I know what you mean David. Many of us get into a slump. There are some months I have less time, feel uncreative and tend to go for the easy option and shoot outside as well. But there are ways to be creative and have fun with those shots too, and you've done that more so than you think. So stay positive, keep creating your awesome, vibrant images (weather you feel they are creative or not), and have fun! :)

@jyokota - Thanks so much for checking out the difference Junko. It's so interesting to see how we improve over time. I'd never use a base like this today haha
