I was outside early this morning taking a few pics, because I was going to be away from home today. I saw a green caterpillar hanging from a silky thread on one of my trees. I got closer and realized he was spinnning a cocoon. The first six pictures I took were against the sky and weren't very good. So I tried using the tree as a background. All this time the caterpillar was swaying and spinning and going higher in the tree! These aren't as clear as I would like for them to be, but I think they are kind of cool. You can see the little ball of silky material. It got bigger as he spun faster. I took pics until he got too far up for me to see him.
@nikkers Thank you! I posted it manually with the share button. Facebook took the app off for some reason. I lost all my lovely comments from my facebook friends with the posts they deleted.
