Today I took my pics in a place filled with wonderful childhood memories. I took pics in a field that belonged to my grandparents when I was growing up. They lived beside us and I spent many fantastic days with Granny and Papa. I thought about them a lot today. I still miss them so much!
The field itself has some nice memories for me , too. My Daddy taught me to drive in it. I remember when it was hayfield and getting to ride on the haywagon. In the very back of the field was a sinkhole. People had thrown lots of cool things in it. Well, they seemed cool when I was little. :0)
It was a really nice day! I also got a homecooked meal out of the deal. My mom was going to make sandwiches for us, but she decided to cook a yummy meal instead.
This little beauty is a Checkered White. The wildflowers are more ironweed.
Thank you for your views, comments, and faves! :0)
