I had the most wonderful day! I spent it with my best friend, Micky. We started our day with a late breakfast at our favorite restaurant. Then we did a little shopping. After that, we went to the state park where I like to take pics.
The park was so much fun! She had lots of ideas for pics. There was a fallen tree across one of the trails. It had a hole in it that you could see through. I was taking some pics through it and she volunteered to walk down the path. This is Micky walking for me. :0)
I had to scrunch down to get the pics and I know my backside was up in the air. Some hikers came up behind me with their dog. It startled me, but I said hello to them. The women gave me a snooty look and said something about me trying to be artsy. I smiled and said I was doing a project. She just kept walking on past like I wasn't worth her time. Well, I just turned around and took pics of her big behind going down the trail. If I was better at editing, I would make it bigger!!! My new policy is if you're rude to me, I will take an unflattering pic of you! I'll post it sometime, If I can figure out how to edit it the way I want to. LOL!
Thank you for your comments on yesterday"s leaf pic and your sympathies for my computer problems. Jeff worked on it last night and got it going for a short time. There's a problem with the video card cable. It was on long enough for me to put my most important pic files on a thumb drive. Those are my 365 files, of course! :0)
I'm posting a candid capture of my friend, Micky, in my other album. I did ask her permission as she doesn't really like her pic taken. :0)
Hahahaha! I love your story here. How rude of her! I had a similar experience when I was doing my wolf-hat selfie, a woman stopped and was watching me set up tripod, check focus, blah blah blah. I'm already uncomfortable doing selfies in public, so that made it doubly unnerving. Then she saw me don the hat and just couldn't keep quiet and asked me (in a super rude way) if this wasn't a picture I wouldn't be more comfortable shooting at home. Obviously I would be, but that was kind of the point of the shot! It was weird, she was acting like I was shooting porn in the street or something! So I asked her if my set-up was in her way at all and then just kind of waited until she realized I wasn't going to take the shot til she finally left. What's up with people?!?
This pic is really cool! I'm glad you have a nice friend to have good times with. One of these days, I'll stop moving long enough to actually make real friends!
You know Ms Fat Butt really evidently thinks very little of herself and probably ought to be pitied...
I love the way that this is framed . . perfect! The colors are so soft and texture of the tree really shows it off well. Glad that you had fun and am looking forward to that photo of the "snooty oberserver!"
OMG Carolyn - I'm roaring laughing at your attitude towards you big bottomed acquaintance. Good for you! I can't stand pretentious people either. Go you!
Carolyn, it's a great shot, and we know how much fun we can have with photos on here. We can take our revenge to the max. It takes all kinds, but it sounds like you had a wonderful day with your friend anyway. We can deal with rudeness in our own way.
send me the photo I will make her arse the biggest you have ever seen.. what a bitch and Im not talking about the dog...
why do people need to be so bloody rude???
and great shot of Micky even if it's an artsy shot... LOL
Nice one - love the story - how unpleasant to come across snooty hikers - you can normally rely on them to be decent sorts! I have the same motto - http://www.flickr.com/photos/ayla63/6218177633/
What a fab best friend you have! Photo is precious! That lady though, tut, how very rude! Her comments were just not wanted or needed, she should of kept her horrible attitude to herself, bleugh.
OMG...what a story! I love it! Did you post the mean woman's pic? I cannot seem to find it. It is sad when people are like that....then I think maybe I am messed up too, but remind myself that if I am not judging people and expecting every one to be like me and don't care what they do, how can that be the one in the wrong? We need a pic of this woman! Haha
fabulous story Caroline, and why are people so rude?!! Its a wonderful capture with the framing on the tree, love it!! Revenge can be oh so sweet sometimes haha!!!
Great pic of your friend walking away.

You are fab! :o)
Now, this really is an artsy photo, and I love it! She just doesn't understand art...and good taste...and good manners...I really could go on...
