This is an older picture but one I never published here. I needed a hood or a filter to correctly capture this. I plan to do the same hike again, this time I'll try not to forget some filters.
Wow - great sunburst. I had to reminisce when I read your comments about filters. I just have a small, "point and shoot" camera and it now bears the scars of an accidental direct shot into the setting sun.... This is such a super image though - I'll look forward to your next, filtered ones. :)
