Sadly, this specimen is not growing in my garden. I collected this coastal Banksia seed pod whilst on holiday a few years ago. I think it's one of the more extraordinary seed pods you could find....

I remember Banksia Men :) wow that takes me right back to my childhood! This just reminded me, have a beautiful really old set of books - Snugglepot & Cuddlepie, The Magic Pudding and two others. Must go hunt them down now!! Great shot!
