I went for a look around the garden centre where I used to live and took this photo of the old wall around my old home. It's starting to get a bit crumbly but is still standing, a testament to my fathers bricklaying skills, I still remember him building it over 45 years ago. I always remember all the memories this place brings back and am thankful they have not knocked it down ......yet.
Through the pattern you can just see my childhood home and trees my father planted.
If he was alive today he would be the grand old age of 104!
Lovely story, I was drawn to this too as we had a wall in our garden made of the same blocks. I remember colouring them in one day whilst my mum was sunbathing, I thought she would be pleased when she saw my lovely colouring but she wasnt very impressed!
