BELL BOOK AND CANDLE

In memory of dad, the book was his and dates back to 1890 and gives all the North Riding parish records for every village and town in the area. A very interesting read.
The brass hand bell was also his, my mother would ring it when his meals were ready it saved her trying to find him on the 5 acres he market gardened. Nowadays it would be a quick text!!......although it still rings clear and very loud....
