On the 5th it will be a Micro full moon, meaning it will be furthest away from the earth, so will look tiny. In the early hours of this morning it was shining so bright I couldn't resist a shot before I went to bed.

@nicknac Hi Nick, I wish I could tell you what to do with your camera as all are different all I can do is tell you what I did to get this photo on my camera. I love my bridge camera, it's a Canon Powershot SX50HS, the exif data is
1/400th sec
F6.5
ISO 160
Focal length more than 1,200 as to get this close it goes into digital zoom.
Just play around with ISO and shutter speed combinations, this is just what suits mine and yours will be different, hope this helps.
