Not be long now Margaret, this is the first year I have not grown them. I like to grow them in Large pots with lots of Feed, then I can move them around the Garden, then at this time of year they go under cover so I can get an extra few weeks of the Beautiful flowers.

A great close up shot of those lovely flowers. So sorry this are the last ones this year. Fall has started here too.

I am amazed at how long they kept on flowering. I must make a note to sow them next season. Fabulous close up capture with that black background.

@tonygig we do the same Tony but as it comes into September they decide enough is enough. I love sweet peas, they remind me of my childhood, my father used to grow them for market and on a Friday I used to go and watch him cut and bunch them ready to sell. When I was old enough and working as a teenager I got the job of cutting them for market, I can still remember how to do it(18 to a bunch arranged in a fan, elastic banded and the price of 1/6d bunch). I used to cut 150 bunches every Friday during their flowering season.
