Peaceful

It's not often it gets to be this peacefully quiet in Saltburn. A lovely sunny day yesterday such bitterly cold windchill tends to put all but the very hardy folk off!! The tide was in and it was such a lovely view despite the cold, roll on the warmer weather! In this shot is Hunt Cliff and the very old but still in regular use cliff lift, it's not opened fully until Easter.

I've never been to Saltburn, but I do love the North East coast. We tend to head for Scarborough, Filey or Whitby from here.

I can probably say Scarborough Filey and Whitby are definitely more picturesque but Marske Saltburn and Redcar do have a raw charm of their own but that's maybe because I've lived in this area all my life! Saltburn is the prettiest by far!
