Cherry Blossom time

Cherry blossom time has finally started, it's a little later this year than the past few years but always a welcome sight when it does finally arrive. Today has been sunny 13c and this tree which stands next door was just in bud yesterday but today it's a riot of colour! When I was a girl cherries didn't flower till May, which shows how the seasons have changed over the years!
