Sand Sculptures

I was very surprised to find these sand sculptures on Redcar seafront this week. Apparently they were done last week during the bank holiday. The weather was atrocious and I didn't know it was going on so now they have taken a bit of a hammering from the weather but mainly the kids who were trying to chip lumps off these as I tried to get a few shots. They were really well made and apparently very robust. I hope you get the feel of them in this collage, they all stood about 7-8 ft high!
Best on black

Thank you for all your comments and favs all are much appreciated.

Very impressive. They have a sand sculpture display in Frankston every year, such clever people out there. Shame that the kids want to chip lumps off the sculptures though.
