South Gare by craftymeg

South Gare

We went down to the South Gare this afternoon, it's not a picturesque place but today it was very pretty in its own way. The sun was out and apart from some grey sky it remained fine with temps around 18c.
It proves nature takes over if given a chance, the wild flowers were a picture growing on the mounds of slag which had been dumped from the steel works over the years. Opposite all this colour is the now mothballed Steel Works, such a contrast!.
In the background are Redcars wind turbines.
Nice on black

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs on yesterday's rose photo, it's really appreciated.

Nature is so beautiful when left to its own devices. Unfortunately few of us leave nature to do its work.
