September moor

The 1st of September, this afternoon, still chasing the sun, but still fleeting. This is the view from above Westerdale. The heather is full out but not quite as good a year as last year, it does vary, but is still very beautiful and the perfume is of sweet honey!

I love this and agree that the heather hasnt been quite as 'lush' this year on the fells. I really like the background layers of sky, heather and field. I would have been tempted to jump the wall and get three blocked layers.
