This afternoon the weather and sunshine took a turn for the better so we went for a trip out over the moors, the sky was a vivid blue with beautiful snowy white marshmallow clouds. All the rain we have had this past week has made everywhere even greener than ever. Hedgerows are overgrown
and all along the drystone walls are wild foxgloves, buzzing with bees. Wild shrub roses are blooming where they have not been cut back and I noticed wild honeysuckle dotted through the hawthorn hedging. The bracken is about 2 foot high and the moor is starting to take on a lovely green tinge. Summer is well and truly here, even though temps have been swinging from 10-20c this past week!!
Nice on black
Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs on yesterday's rose, I nearly didn't post it with posting a similar one the other day!
