I know it’s a day late but I was at the hospital yesterday and in the end I forgot to post this photo! My brain is never in gear after I have had a steroid and pain killer cordel injection, similar to an epidural, I get a terrific headache, hot flushes and feel yucky for the rest of the day.
Any way for any one out there who is interested this valentines card was a black piece of card embossed with a heart cut into it to make a shaker card. It was silver gilding waxed and then layered onto the card blank. Hubby liked it anyway!
Nicer on black
Thank you for all your visits comments and favs all are much appreciated
That’s gorgeous, you are very gifted at card making methinks. Sorry to hear about the injection aftermath. Hope it settles down speedily for you. Much love to you.
Clever girl ad a beautiful card - love is all around , why stick to a certain date to declare it !! Hope you are oming over the discomfort of the back injection -- not the nicest of things ,but lets hope you will soon benefit from it ! :)
This is an amazing card, Margaret. Your husband, and the others you give cards to, are indeed fortunate to receive such a work of art.
So very sorry to hear about your trials. Wishing you well.
So sorry to read that your Valentine's Day was a most uncomfortable one, but to post this now, we're no longer on overload with other hearts and flowers! Your talent is quite marvelous! I spent years, too, making cards of all sorts. and what better use for them than to give someone your gifts! These days I resort to cards with my photography, but I do enjoy writing real letters and mailing them out and about!
I hope you feel better today. Orthopedic problems are not easy to treat never mind fix. They are quite painful conditions! This card is so lovely. You have learned how to make some exquisite cards.
So very sorry to hear about your trials. Wishing you well.
