This is what greeted me this morning as I opened the curtains. Yet another fall of snow about 3 inches deep, beautiful but so lethal for me. Luckily the sun came out and the roads cleared for the day but it has started again so the weather forecast was right and we have more to come at the weekend. I think I will hibernate for the next few weeks. Temps now are minus 1c and will probably get colder.
This photo is also in remembrance for my mam who’s birthday it would have been today she would have been 99 years old. The seat you see in the photo is the one she bought us many years ago and the wheelhoe in front of the seat is the one my dad used to use when I was a little girl, he was a market gardener and he used this hoe to keep the weeds down between the rows of his crops he used to grow for market. He would have been 109 on his birthday last month.

Thank you for all your comments and favs all are much appreciated.
A beautiful corner of the garden full of happy memories , Mags , You have had more snow than us but by now the sprinkling of sow is getting deeper ! (unfortunately ) but so cold ! Home is th best place in this weather ,for sure !
A beautiful scene of your backyard, even if it does have snow. I hope you stay warm and cozy inside and don't have to get out for much until it warms up and dries up. How lovely to have those mementos of your folks.
I wonder how you are doing today? We had a couple of inches overnight now and it is steadily coming down. I think it may be around 4 inches by the day's end. Fun waking up to a winter wonderland out of the window, though I know walking in it doesn't suit you.
What a lovely memorial to precious people there. My hubby's Dad would have been 109 this last month too.
