The gorse is so colorful across the moors, this is the first year in about 6 years that it has flowered like this. It went through a bad winter, the minus winter temps nearly killed it off, that’s saying something knowing how hardy it is!! It’s taken this long for it to recover properly and this year it is glorious!

Beautiful splash of yellow against the blue sky. We used to have lots of gorse bushes when we lived on Anglesey many years ago and they provide such wonderful colpour to the countryside.
