Gare by craftymeg

Gare

It’s amazing where nature survives, these wild flowers are so pretty and are growing with a backdrop of a shale tip wall. Beyond are the sand dunes, beach, sea and wind turbines.
Taken on the South Gare yesterday which has a wild and windswept natural beauty all of its own. It does blow the cobwebs away for sure!!
Nice on black

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.
Look like Valerian to me (come in Red, White & Pink). Incredibly hardy, will grow anywhere and spread very easily. That is apart from the 6 I had in my garden at the begining of last Summer that all died in the ensuing drought. (I bought 6 replacements at the weekend)

What a lovely backdrop too (I have a bit of an obsession about wind turbines)

I love the nature bit. Not a fan of those wind turbines. Blot on the landscape to me and I am not sure they are particularly effective. But oh those flowers are gorgeous.

Nature knows how to take care of itself. Those flowers really look nice in that surroundings.
