Seafront by craftymeg

Seafront

Today we thought we would go for a bit of a blow to the seafront, that was not a good idea. We were only going to sit in the car park but that went out the window when we got there. We have never seen as many folk parked on paths and verges because the carpark was heaving! So we just kept on going and came home, so I am now enjoying a cuppa and the cool of the kitchen. Temps say it is 29c, way to warm for me but it is nice to see the sun again.

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.
Shame it was so busy. It’s not like the virus has gone yet! Nice shot and glad you are chilling at home now. Hot day!

Such a pity you had to go home Margaret, I would have too. Lovely shot of this summery scene.

Some have no sense at all - but a lovely shot Margaret - this heat is too much for me too - just flaked out for the most of the day !!

Great capture of the beach side and nice tower.
( I never goes that way in summer. To crowded. And no parking places to be found. )

It's going to be a while before we feel comfortable in busy places I think!

interesting processing :)

We had three days that hit 32.2 so 29 isn't so bad. After that, it cooled down to about 29 but the humidity has continued. TGlad my portable ac is working.

What an interesting image - you don't expect to see so many people in a crowd these days. And what a marvellous building - it looks like it's wrapped in old film. :)

Great shape to the build8ng but I sure wouldn’t have gotten out of my car with so many people

Sorry you didn't get to stop, but those folks don't seem to be social distancing.

Sounds like an excellent plan to me! Too many people.

Well done.

Beautiful capture. Interesting building. The place looks very popular with so many people around. When we first went out after lockdown we felt the same - you avoid one person to almost bump into another. We are more relaxed now when we go out.

Great capture and so interesting looking. There sure are a lot of people there. I would have kept going, too.

Great candid shot

A nice shot of a normal summer day - but sadly things are not normal, and you did the right thing in not staying amidst the crowds.

Great composition and edit. I think in such places we feel more at ease and forget about distance.
