Went to IKEA today with my youngest to get "ideas" for things in the house--oh, to dream big. I told her that I wanted to take her to an artistic complex near the Atlanta Water Works called the Goat Farm if we had enough time after our shopathon. Alas, no time left, but I stopped outside IKEA to set up a snap of this great ATL landmark. I loved how the power lines divided up the shot. To the right of this landmark is a huge power plant!
And I thought it would be another bird shot. Thanks to many of you wonderful folks who liked yesterday's photo of parent and child Mockingbirds eating the delicious berries off the "I have no idea what kind of bush I have" bush! It went to the PP page. Shocked, but very appreciative! :)
the one we go to in Croydon has a big tower on it too. you can see it quite a way off. not that you need to as the car queue starts quite a way off anyway! great shot. love the clouds as a backdrop, but the building is really great.
Love the ornamentation of those old buildings! Sure, you could build a plain, old smokestack that would serve a purpose, but why not add some decorative brickwork around the top? Too bad we've lost that creative spark!
thankyhou for your comments, you are too kind, you know you could revisit this place and do an awesome Kenna with it for the artist challenge, add some neg space above, take a look at sean O'neills entries
