Part of cleaning out an office means looking at things of the past. This gives a sense of the times when I was growing up (I'm the munchkin on the left). My mom is @shunter on 365--she is such a beautiful woman. Look at my dad with his mutton chops! And my brothers--we had style and some hippie vibes--You can't see them, but I'm pretty sure I'm wearing my all vinyl lace-up boots--awwww yeah! This was our the backyard, next to the crabapple tree, next to the chained link fence. Ah, memories. Office and room swap is complete. I may drink a little too much tonight. :)
I love seeing this. As we mature, these old photos and memories become more important. I checked out your beautiful Mother's photos, so now I know where your talent came from.
I like this family photo! Not one of those "awkward" ones that goes bad. Everyone is close in a genuine way...feels so "real." I had lace up, vinyl, white go go boots when I was in first grade. We could not find them in Dalton, GA, so Mom looked everywhere, drove everywhere, until I had some. But they had to be cheap...we had little money. I think maybe Pic N Pay?
